Deleting your account and data
App name: supaSAJU (수파사주) · Developer: Suparain, Inc. (주식회사 수파레인)
This page explains how to delete your account in the supaSAJU app and website, which types of data are deleted and which are kept and for how long, and how to delete only part of your data while keeping your account.
1. From inside the app
- Open supaSAJU and sign in.
- Choose Settings → Delete account.
- Confirm it is you with the method you signed in with: enter your password for an email account, or choose the same Google or Apple account again.
- Once confirmed, deletion goes ahead immediately and the app tells you the account has been deleted. A deleted account cannot be restored.
2. On the web
- Sign in at supasaju.com.
- Choose Settings → Delete account.
- Confirm it is you in the same way and deletion goes ahead.
3. If you cannot sign in: request by email
If you cannot reach the app or the website, write to help@supasaju.com from the email address you signed up with. We verify who you are and complete the deletion within 30 days of the request.
4. What is deleted
- Account details: email address, sign-in methods (including linked Google and Apple identities), and sign-in sessions
- Eligibility details: date of birth and country of residence
- Saved birth details and chart calculation results
- Consultation records and summaries
- Inquiries you sent in the app or on the web, and the replies
- Remaining passes and the record of passes granted and used (the payment and supply record of passes you purchased is kept as described in section 5)
- Diagnostic material (such as the transcript of a consultation held while diagnostic capture was on)
At the moment deletion completes, this data is erased in a way that makes recovery impractical. We never stored the voice from consultations in the first place. Information that processors such as OpenAI hold on their own systems is handled under each company's own policy.
5. What is kept afterwards
The items below are ones the law requires us to keep, or ones that have been made unable to identify you. Records kept because the law requires them are stored apart from your account and destroyed when the period ends.
| Item | Period | Basis or note |
|---|---|---|
| Payment and refund records (web card payment, Google Play, App Store): order number or store transaction number, product and quantity, amount and currency (web payments), payment channel, payment and refund date and time, and status | 5 years (from the payment date, or from the refund date if there was a refund) | Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce — records of payment and supply, and of contracts and withdrawal of subscription. Your email address and other direct identifiers are not kept |
| Records of consumer complaints and dispute handling received and handled by email (what was reported and the outcome) | 3 years | Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce. Inquiries made in the app or on the web are deleted with the account; this item covers only matters received and handled by email |
| Hash of a device identifier, used to avoid giving the welcome pass twice | While the abuse-prevention purpose remains | Kept detached from any account; the original identifier is not stored |
| Per-consultation AI usage cost statistics | While the cost-accounting purpose remains | Carry nothing that identifies you |
| Security and audit records | Minimum period per purpose | Kept with identifying details removed at the time of deletion |
Payment and refund records are separated from your account at the moment you delete it and moved to a separate retention table, in the same step as the deletion (both happen or neither does). Your email address and other direct identifiers are not moved, and your account identifier is replaced by a one-way value so that records of the same deleted account can only be grouped together. Card numbers and other payment-method details, and the raw store receipt or purchase token, were never stored; orders that were never approved and store test (sandbox) payments are not kept.
If you ask about a refund or a dispute, give us the order number (web payments) or the Google Play or App Store order number; we find that record and check it against what the payment provider or store holds. If a refund or cancellation is reported by the payment provider or store after you deleted your account, it is applied to the kept record and the 5 years are counted again from the refund date. Records whose period has ended are destroyed by an hourly cleanup.
6. Worth knowing
- Unused passes are lost when the account is deleted and are not refunded. If you want a refund, ask at help@supasaju.com before deleting.
- If you have a subscription, cancel it in the App Store or Google Play first. Deleting the account does not cancel a store subscription.
- For an account that signed in with Apple, deleting the account also revokes the sign-in link with Apple.
- You can sign up again with the same email address, but the earlier history is not restored. The same device cannot receive the app's welcome pass again.
- If you only want to remove saved birth details or consultation summaries, you can delete those separately without deleting the account. See section 7 below.
7. Deleting only part of your data, without deleting your account
You can keep your account and delete only the data below. Sign in and do it yourself on the app or website screens; deleted data cannot be restored.
| Data to delete | How | What is deleted |
|---|---|---|
| All consultation summaries | In Settings → Summaries & memory, turn off “Save consultation summaries” and save (agree in the confirmation) | Every saved consultation summary is deleted, and new summaries are no longer saved. |
| One consultation summary | Open the consultation under My conversations (“My readings” in the app) and choose “Delete this summary” (app and web) | That consultation's summary and the introduction history used in it |
| All consultation summaries (web) | “Delete all summaries” at the bottom of Your conversations on the website | All saved consultation summaries and introduction history |
| Birth details | In Settings → Birth details, choose “Delete birth details” (“Delete saved birth details” in the app) | The saved birth details and the chart results and basic introduction history linked to them. Your account and consultation summaries are not deleted. |
| Only saved chart results and introduction history | In Settings → Birth details, turn off “Save Saju references and basic introduction history” and save | The saved chart results and introduction history. The birth details themselves remain. |
| Any other specific data (for example, your inquiries) | Email help@supasaju.com from the address you signed up with, saying which data to delete | We verify who you are and act within 30 days of the request. Data the law requires us to keep (section 5) can remain until that period ends, and deleting information the service needs may limit your use of it. |
